Roots of Devotion: Song & Drum Circle

A ceremonial journey of song, rhythm, and prayer.
Come join us to awaken the alchemy of voice with the heartbeat of the drum.
Together, we will wake up our instruments — body and drum — and call in sacred space for our song circle.
There will be space to learn new songs and to share your own in this woven, co-created musical gathering. Here, we receive the medicine of our shared voices and drums.
This is for you to remember the songs that live inside your bones…
To weave your prayer with the earth, the drum, the voice, each other, and the Great Mystery.

Saturday, May 9th: 3pm -4pm in the Zen Garden

Ayni Despacho Creation

Andean Offerings — The art of sharing beauty.

In the Andes, a festive and colorful ritual full of beauty and depth is still practiced: the despacho, or offering.

In Quechua, this sacred act is called Haywarikuy — an invitation to offer with an open heart and to remember the sacredness of life. Each offering, like ephemeral poetry, is a gesture of humility, gratitude, devotion, and longing.

During this experience, we will learn the ancient gesture of offering — what a despacho is, what it is used for, and how intention shapes the ritual. We will explore what happens in our conscious and unconscious minds, how the subtle body responds, and how we connect with the luminous world.

This practice becomes a way of living in Ayni — reciprocity — making the ritual of offering part of daily life, a sacred exchange with Mother Earth, Pachamama.
