Soniko Waira
Soniko Waira is a visionary musician, father, partner, and community weaver whose work is devoted to awakening the human heart. For over two decades he has walked a path of music, ceremony, and self‑realization inspired by the indigenous wisdom of the Americas, mainly the Andes and the living spirit of the Earth.
His journey began with a life‑changing vision quest that opened a lifelong devotion to sacred sound and indigenous teachings. Since then, Soniko has shared medicine music across circles, retreats, and gatherings, using voice, rhythm, and story to remind people of their belonging to Pachamama.
His songs are simple, powerful prayers meant to be sung together.
In Nelson and beyond, he is known as a bridge builder who gathers community around beauty, courage, and celebration.
On stage, Soniko offers music for the heart.
In circle, he guides practices that help people remember who they truly are again.

A musical offering for the heart honoring the sacred Mother. Soniko guides a journey of medicine music beginning with Pachamama, Mother Earth, the great source of life. Through simple songs, rhythm, and story, we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, and life-givers who sustain our world. Come sing, breathe, and remember our belonging to the living Earth and to one another.

The Art of Living Beautifully invites participants into the Andean wisdom of Sumak Kawsay, a way of life rooted in harmony with Earth, community, and spirit. Through storytelling, reflection, and conversation, Soniko shares teachings inspired by Andean traditions alongside stories of the Sin’ixt people who have lived on this land since time immemorial, revealing timeless guidance for co-creating a beautiful world.
